It seems like my son has been teething since shortly after he was born. His teeth have been SO slow to come in (he broke his first tooth through at almost 10 months, and now at just over a year his teeth have barely come through… he has six barely-there teeth.)
Needless to say, he’s teething non-stop on everything, including his crib rails, my wood T.V. stand, my skin, and other various objects he manages to get his paws on. I’ve bought entirely too many teethers, only about half of which he actually cares about.
Even then, I get so tired of holding a teether for him. Often he’ll do it himself, but still loses grasp and they end up under the couch, or he’ll give them to the cats to play with (gross, and I’m tired of sanitizing them.) So, what’s the solution?
We were thrilled that Munch Mitt offered to send us their product. Munch mitt is a little glove that slides on to your little one’s hand and velcros around the wrist. It has breathable material, and a teething edge so that your LO can chomp on the glove. The mitten is exceptionally well-made. It’s nice to see a product that isn’t made from cheap materials.
I was skeptical at first, but after putting this on my son’s hand, he immediately started chomping away. He also loves that the glove crinkles, because he enjoys drumming on everything. The sound made the mitt even more fun for him.
As a bonus, the mitt comes with a wash bag. You can toss this in with your laundry, and by putting the mitt in the bag, you don’t have to worry about lint/hair getting into the velcro. Definitely a bonus.
We’ve been testing this product for several weeks now, and it’s held up so well. My son uses it often, and he has yet to get tired of it.
We recommend this product to any parent of a teething little one! The only thing we would recommend is a size larger for babies with exceptionally chunky hands. We feel as thought this product could be used beyond 12 months, but could only see that happening with a larger size mitt.
Thanks to Munch Mitt for a great, quality product!

Hi Katie! I am really happy to see some post that promotes the same product that I am using. My baby really loves munch mitt too! She is now 6 months old and she got a really amazing teething journey. I am not so thrilled about her getting hurt on her teething stage as she shows to be strong and was not able to feel very bad about it. I don’t know if it is because she has a very high tolerance about pain(maybe) or the symptoms are not severe on her. But for me, its maybe because we have been preparing her along the way, including her balance diet and also given her other alternatives when it comes to products.
