Aden+Anais Dream Blanket {Review}

You might already know about Aden+Anais, because BurritoBuzz moms love their products. We did a review not long ago on their toddler bedding, but I want to share my new favorite love with you all: The Aden+Anais Dream Blanket.

Their super soft muslin dream blanket is four layers of rayon, made from bamboo. The blanket is breathable, but still thick enough to be plush and warm. The quality stitching keeps your blanket from falling apart like many other blankets do, particullarly when being machine washed over and over again.

I was thrilled to throw this into my son’s crib, knowing that it’s a safe product for him (he’s now 16 months, so well beyond the age of keeping items out of the crib.) This is a good starter blanket for him. The designs are truly beautiful, and I chose the Midnight – Stylo. What I like most about this blanket is how easy it is to quickly fold up and transport– it isn’t bulky, so it easily fits into my diaper bag.
The price point is a little high for the Dream Blanket, at right around $60. The cost of most muslin products, especially of such good quality, is generally slightly higher than a typical blanket.
Many thanks to Aden + Anais for always providing quality products.

Aden+Anais Toddler Bedding: Liam the Brave

81ur7Y0U1EL._SY550_
My son is finally a year old, which is a huge milestone for bed time! We kept Lucas’ crib free of any bedding/extras for the entire first year. After he turned one we got the go-ahead from the pediatrician to give him a blanket. (In all reality, he moves around enough in his crib that it’s rarely on him anyway.)

I really wanted to find something that was breathable since he still smashes his face up against his bedding. I love Aden+Anais, and their muslin products, and Lucas got the Liam the Brave set for his birthday. It’s a full bed in a bag, with a crib sheet attached to a thin muslin sheet, a thicker comforter, and a pillow. All were great quality.

The bed in a bad can be found on Amazon for between $70-$80. A little pricey, but because they 91bNuj6827L._SX522_have such a good reputation, I thought it was worth it to have some safe, quality bedding. It has washed very well, with no fraying.

The pillow is exceptionally thinner than it appears in the photo (so thin, that I actually thought it was part of a sheet at first.) Again, my LO doesn’t keep his head on it right now anyway… and it’s breathable, so I don’t have to worry about him bunching it up. It’s a good introductory pillow, but he’ll eventually need one a little thicker, I’m sure.

I highly recommend Aden+Anais for your toddler’s first bedding set!
