Lucas having a blast on our deck!

I am obsessed with Step2 products. I have several hand-me-down items that even a decade later, still look new. They hold up so well in comparison to many of their counterparts. So there was no question that I’d get a Step2 Water Table this summer! My little guy loves playing in water (which we cannot mistake for being in the water, because he still isn’t so fond of that). But being able to stand at a water table both cools him off in the hot summer months and gives him a great number of sensory activities to keep him occupied!

We opted for the Spill & Splash Seaway table, which is a middle of the road table as far as price goes as it will run right around $70, depending on where you purchase it from.

IMG_3141Setup took me about 15 minutes. It was straightforward, which is always appreciated when you have a toddler running around.

This table is super sturdy and comes with a many toys and activities to keep little ones engaged. Better yet, it’s made in the USA!

There’s an 11-piece accessory set and umbrella. It holds a fair amount of water and has a cool waterfall effect when you overfill the top. The recommended age is 1.5. My son is 16 months old and really enjoys playing with it already.

So far, my son has not gotten bored with this set. He will stand and play under his umbrella, in his swimsuit, for a good length of time.IMG_3065

My only complaint? Many water tables have a place to unplug the basin of the table to let the water drain. This one does not have one and it would make a great
addition. I hate having to flip the table to dump the water because the umbrella makes if pretty tricky to get all the water out without actually taking the umbrella off.

Outside of that design flaw, I’m thrilled with it! Thanks to Step2 for always providing good, quality products!
